With the winter seasons in the air spirits are high, the air is cold, and the anticipation for Spring is growing day by day. Unfortunately for some they dread these winter months because of the conditions they’re in, thankfully for those in need there is a soup kitchen located at 422 W 7th St, here in Pueblo that gives those in need a great meal to look forward to made the amazing cook Lorenzo, as well as a warm place to sit down and enjoy.

I choose our local Soup Kitchen due to the fact I don’t think enough people are looking at the real world, some people don’t get a genuine meal on an everyday basis, so I just think it’s important for people to see that this is happening and that there are amazing people out there that make this happen and help those who really need it. So to me it was really amazing to see and experience, our local is a perfect place to volunteer at because volunteering is “What keeps this place running,” says the lady in charge Eva.

Not only would it help them out, it’s the perfect way to get your volunteering hours which are needed to graduate, you will get your credits and will be sent home with a free meal!

Overall the Soup Kitchen here in Pueblo, is one of the greatest places you could donate, volunteer, or even just check out due to the fact that it’s changing those people in need day by day.
