On Tuesday, September 18, our Volleyball team faced off against the Central Wildcats in our home gym, ultimately defeating them in three sets. All three were exciting to watch, and our girls were able to outplay them and end the game early.
The gym was packed with fans from both teams, and the Bulldogs and Wildcats began their fight to better their record. Our girls were able to hold Central back to only 13 points in the first set, but the Wildcats didn’t make it so easy to do that the last 2 sets.
The second set went back and forth with scoring. Both teams had bursts of scoring, but some of our Bulldog seniors were able to hold their ground and help win the set. Strong hits from Maddy Bigley and good saves from Jillian Kelly tipped the girls over the Wildcats. The Bulldogs were able to end the game in three sets, with that last two ending with the score of 25-21.
The girls have played defiantly all throughout the season, putting up a fight against every opponent. Make sure to go and support our Volleyball team while participating in the hype student section, especially now as we enter leauge play.
